On this episode, we share the battle of the trademarks case study of Lady A vs Lady A. Lady Antebellum, a country music trio, changed their stage name to Lady A, which is the name of a blues singer who has allegedly been using the name since before the group decided to trademark it. Lady Antebellum, however, own a trademark to the name “LADY A”, which has now started a legal battle over the rights.
