Attorney Delania Barbee counsels businesses of all sizes, business owners, and families through strategic corporate law and estate planning legal services. Delania brings to the firm and its clients her experience working in the Corporate Law Department of a Fortune 100 company and as an attorney in the General Corporate Services and Technology practice groups of a 300+ attorney law firm.
Delania’s passion for business and wealth-building derives from her goal to economically empower historically-disadvantaged communities. Prior to entering the law, she served at a non-profit organization through the Massachusetts Promise Fellowship program and built a local community engagement program to provide financial aid and affordability information and resources to youth and families to help students get to and through college. During college, she eagerly accepted an opportunity to work in the Office of Women and Financial Independence, as it was then called, at Smith College. The law has become a means for her to continue her longtime pursuit. Now, she can help businesses grow with a stronger foundation and strategic legal guidance and, thereby, create jobs for others. Now, she can help individuals direct their tangible and intangible assets in the manner that has a greater likelihood to positively impact the next generation.
Delania is licensed to practice in both Massachusetts and Connecticut and is a past President of the George W. Crawford Black Bar Association.
